Caught Being Good Week 4

We have been focusing on our two school rules over the last few weeks. They are:

1. Be Safe

2. Be Kind

So congratulations to our Caught Being Good Winner who showed kindness towards his fellow students. Ka pai!

We were really lucky to have another 'superhero without a cape' visit our school this week. This time we heard all about the New Zealand Fire Service and how their team help keep us safe.

Pink Shirt Day Suprise!

We had an amazing surprise today when the New Zealand Police superheroes flew in for a visit.  The offices answered student questions and explained the kinds of things they use the helicopter for. Students were surprised to learn that the camera on the helicopter cost $1,500,000!

Make sure you check out students own blogs to learn more about the visit.  You can click on their names on the right hand side of this post and it will take you to individual student blogs.

Have you ever flown in a helicopter? What did it feel like when you took off?
