Home Learning Monday, Week 10

 It is the last week of Term 3!

 We will have one more week of home learning then we will be on our 2 week holiday. 

Please try and get everything finished this week so when we get back to school for Term 4 we have a fresh start and are ready to roll!

Kia ora Room 7, we have had a Maths focus again this week. 

Remember to keep practising your Times Tables as they are a foundation of Maths Learning.   You can use the method in this slideshow to help.

The Times Tables Modelling Book is on the Room 7 Class Site Home Learning Page. It has videos of each of the Times Tables.

Remember, I want your best possible work with lots of time and effort put into it! Your audience wants to know what you did, how you did it, what you learnt etc. Use information, pictures and video to show the whole process.

Welcome to Week 9!

We are going to be looking at Place Value and Column Addition this week. I will be sharing lots of fun games to help with this learning.

We will also continue to look at the many activities on our Choice Board.  Remember to put your learning in your own words.  When you have finished each activity make sure you post it on your blog.

This week we are commenting on Room 24 student blogs. Check out who you are commenting on and leave them a PTQ comment.

Remember to take your time to make a thorough and in-depth presentation of your findings. Detail is key. You don't want your audience to be left wondering!!

You also need to put this information into your own words.  Doing this will show us what you have learned.

Remember to keep practising your Times Tables. Check our Class Site for the steps you can take to memorise your chosen Times Table.

 Kia ora! ​Kei te pehea koe? This week is Te Wiki o te Reo Māori - Māori Language Week.

The Theme is - Kia Kaha te Reo Maori - Let’s make the Maori language strong. We will be learning new Māori words and continuing to use those we already know.

There will be new learning posted on our Class Blog everyday. Also, please continue to check your email for other information.

There will be Google Meetings every day this week from 11am - 11.30am
