Home Learning Wednesday, Week 9

This is the last learning I will post on the blog for 2021. 

Thank you for being such an amazing class. Throughout all the challenges this year has brought you have remained thoughtful, calm and creative. We have all learnt so much.

Home Learning Monday, Week 9

Our recent school closure was not the end of the year we would have wished for but I am glad many of us got to spend the last few weeks reconnecting and settling back into school routines. 

We will be having a Google Meet today at 11.00am to say our farewells. I will send you the link just before 11.00am.

Online and classroom learning

Take a look at the amazing art students have created since returning to school. Our classroom is looking more beautiful by the day!



There will be a Google Meet for all of Room 7 on Wednesday at 11.00 - 11.30am. I will email a link to students both at school and those learning from home and we will share some online learning time together.

There will also be two further Google Meets for those students learning from home. They will be on Monday and Thursday at 11am. These meets will be run by Jo Green and Phil Margetts. A link to these meets will also be sent to students' emails.

Term 4 Home Learning Friday, Week 4

 We are going to look at narrative writing today during our meet.

You are going to write a fantasy narrative (that means it is not a true story). 

Your protagonist (hero) is your chosen Bird (or Bat) of the Year.

The setting is your chosen bird’s (or bat’s) natural environment.

Apart from that, your story can be about anything!

Remember to try to think of something that would happen in the environment your bird (or bat) lives in.

Welcome back after your long weekend.  I hope you managed to get outside for some fun and sun.  I went on a bike ride and found this beautiful mural that depicts some of our precious native birds. Can you tell where it is?

Today we are learning about making Quality Blog comments. This is a very useful skill and so it is worth taking the time to become an expert!

We are still focusing on improving our Times Table knowledge.
