Book Week, A Real Page-turner!

 This week's Book Week has been a great success.  Room 23 has enjoyed lots of fun reading inspired activities like Stop, Drop and Read and fun scavenger hunts in the library.  

Make sure you check out students' own blogs to see if you can guess what their favourite book is. You can click the links on the side of this page to go to individual blogs. 

It was fun to see so many students arrive today dressed as their favourite book character. Can you guess who these students are pretending to be?

Special commendations for those students who painted their own shirt, printed their own flyers and made their own magazine!

We will be sharing our love of books and reading all week. 

Remember students can dress up as their favourite book character on Friday 25th March.

Home Learning Wednesday Week 5, Term 1

 

Superhero Me Student Portraits

 Room 23 has been creating portraits of ourselves as superheroes.

First we chose either a warm or cool coloured background, creating graphic shapes like a comic book.

Next we thought of four words that described ourselves. 

Finally we designed our own mask to add to our portrait.
