Here are some of the fabulous films Room 23 created for the Ako Hiko Film Festival.
Students put a lot work into making these including:
forming groups, writing screenplays, drawing cartoons, creating animations, filming, acting, recording voice overs and finally editing all this raw material into the final versions you see here.
A couple of the films take a bit of time to load, but if you click on the arrow to open in a new window they will play straight away.
Take a look, we hope you enjoy!
Ka pai Room 23. I loved watching your films. I enjoyed how you used voice-overs to make sure your audio was clear and how you added some music to create a mood (especially with the robbery). A good tip for next time would be to remember to film landscape so we can see your awesome shots as clearly as possible. I wonder if you could also come up with some smart ways of keeping the camera nice and still when filming outside? Escape From Class got a lot of laughs at the cinema. I really enjoyed the different shots to show the double teacher.
ReplyDeleteKia ora Room 23. We just watched Escape From Class. Mesepa's favourite part was at the end when they boy lying face down said, "I'm ok." This reminded Lucas about when his little brother was chasing him. Falcon thinks that maybe next time you could add some more sounds effects. From the TakahΔ team at Wesley Primary.
