Hello Megan!! I do not know to much about this earthquake. Well I do know that it was in Canterbury. I do not really watch the news. We were lucky that it was not in Auckland. Hi room 7 i dont know that much about the earthquake but i know that it was caused because Christchurch is on 2 tectonic plates meaning its very prone to earthquakes i also know there is a lasting effect of the city because of it.I cant wait to learn more! Blog you later Hiero

Hi Megan, it is Amy. I only know one thing about the earthquake. I do know that it was very strong and it wreaked lot of places in Canterbury. Thats all I know about the earthquake. I hope that I get to know more about it when we read this book. Have you read it? Bye blog you later.

Hi Miss Judd. I know some things about the Canterbury/Christchurch earthquakes. I know they were big and I noticed in a book that Canterbury is just between a plate and another plate which means if they rub together they will create a earthquake.
So that is all I know (I think). What would you do if you were in a earthquake?
