Hi Megan, it is Amy. I think that Maddy learnt that life always does not go your way. Also it made her realize how much the city cares for each other even if they are mean they might change. I think Maddy also learnt that she should be grateful for the things that she has because she might not have them for longer. Hi Megan, Samantha here. I think that Maddy learnt that Canterbury would never be the same, she learnt to be prepared that it's okay to be scared/frightened but to be brave is just as good. Maddy learnt that helping out is an awesome way to be kind an that she would never live her life the same again. What do you think of my answer? Samantha.

Hello Megan!! Maddy has learnt a lot because of that earthquake. She learnt all about the earthquake in school and at home too. Maddy learnt that their will be after shocks and how bad earthquakes can be! She learnt that you must have a light and shoes next to your bed so you do not step on glass or things that fell on the ground. I have never really been in a big earthquake. I have been in little ones tho. Maddy was in a really big one. I hate how their is after shocks. Well only sometimes. Have you ever been in a earthquake?? Blog you later!! Mikayla!
