Hi Megan, Samantha here. Laura, Maddys best friend was badly effected by the quake her house was made unusable so she fled away from Christchurch. Zoe, was turned from being extremely nasty to Maddy to singing with her at a telethon! I think everyone was effected by this quake in ways no one can imagine! What do you think? Samantha.
Hi Miss Judd. I think that Maddy is happy because Zoe is singing with her and she is able to sing again. I also think she is angry because Christchurch is destroyed and life is not how it used to be. That is what I think. What do you think?
Kia Ora Room 7, I think some of Maddy's kids at her school are feeling frustrated and upset because they might feel like they're going to die or something. I feel like some of them are also tired and angry because the ground is shaking.
KIA Ora Zejm here. I think that all of the kids at Maddy's school are scared of the earthquake because they always get one big one then then they always get an aftershock. She was out of control. Lorrie was 3 maybe. I think that because she had to move schools and find new friends. Maddy 2 she was crying a lot about this earthquake. She was very bothered about it. They might have been level 5 because the students want to stay but their home is not safe enough but Maddy might be at level 2 because she finally gets to sing that is all of my reasons.

I think that Maddy was very upset and fustrated, but now she is better a little because she got a part to be the opening act in a big preformance that her school is putting on, but she thinks that even though she got it if the earthquake did not happen she would of not gotten the part because Lorrie was a way better singer than her.
